12oz spaghetti
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1lb ground beef
1c chopped onions
1c chopped green peppers
1 tb butter
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
(optional) 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
(optional) 1 can sliced olives, drained
2tsp dried oregano
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup ( do not add liquid as on can directions)
1/4 c water
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook pasta and beef.
Saute` onion and green pepper in butter until tender
Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, oregano, beef and spaghetti sauce
Simmer uncovered 10mins
Put 1/4 pasat in greased 13x9 pan
Top with 1/2 beef mixture
Sprinkle with 1c cheddar
Repeat
Mix soup and water until smooth
Pour over top of casserole
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top
Bake uncovered @ 350 for 30-35 mins
